The Bois Blanc Island Historical Society, founded in 1983, is dedicated to celebrating
and preserving Island information, artifacts, stories and culture. We have a wide variety
of exhibits featuring artifacts and images that capture the Island’s colorful past and
present, as well as a library with an excellent collection of regional history and children’s
books. During July and August, we offer programs that you won’t want to miss – free
for the whole family!
